FGS Organics Ltd are a soil improvement specialist recycling company based in the South East, who undertake the supply, haulage and application of fertilisers to land. A position has arisen for a Farm Liaison Officer working within the South East region, recycling a varied package of by-products but primarily digestate to agricultural land, as well as promoting the company’s other activities to continue our growth.
The role will involve the following:
- Promote sales of digestate produced from various third-party Anaerobic Digestion facilities, mainly based in Buckinghamshire
- Liaising with farmers and customers, identification, and selection of new recycling sites throughout the region
- Assist with any other recycling of products to agricultural land if applicable.
- Promote all other services provided by the company, not limited to the recycling of materials to agriculture
- Conduct all farmer liaisons to assist with the promotion of Anaerobic Digestion products amongst other materials.
- Undertake all field walking, soil sampling and risk assessments for the recycling of products to agricultural land.
- Completion of legislative documents, administrative duties and day to day logistics of the transport and application of product to land within Environment Agency guidelines and regulations.
- Completion of all relevant documents to ensure a fully compliant service is provided.
- Assist with the organisation of requirements to fulfil the delivery, stockpiling and spreading, in accordance with protocols, of the AD products.
- Agricultural knowledge and experience
- Existing knowledge of recycling products to agricultural land
- High levels of self motivation and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and computer literate
- Ability to work as a member of a small team and on your own initiative
- FACTS and other agricultural qualifications an advantage but not essential
