We use our bespoke IT system to record spreading and haulage tonnages digitally online which reports back in real-time to head office.
Each spreader operator has a tablet to access daily jobs where they can view field maps, permits, risk assessments and other documents they may need. Online tickets are completed for each field and we can then create a fertiliser spreading report and fertiliser application record per field. Reports can include field names, area spread, tonnage applied and application rate which can feed into a manner report.
Our team of lorry drivers also have tablets where each haulage load is recorded and linked to customer and product receiving sites. The weighbridge tickets for each load is logged alongside the tonnage removed and can ensure traceability of all material.
All of this information is stored on our online database where we can view each customer and see the historic delivery and applications to land. We use this system for all the products that we supply and apply as fertiliser replacements and soil improvers, ensuring full traceability for producers and farmers including fully auditable records for cross compliance or similar.
