Anaerobic Digestate is nutrient rich replacement for artificial fertilisers, containing useful quantities of N, P, K, Magnesium and Sulphur. Quantities and crop availability depends on the materials used to produce AD Digestate and how it has been digested.
Unlike Farmyard manure Anaerobic Digestate is less odorous as the process in which it goes through decreases the volatile organic content of organic material.
AD Digestate should be applied at maximum crop growth stages through injection or trail hose, normally through late winter, spring and summer, to gain the best benefits.
Benefits of application include:
• crop available nutrients
• source of moisture
• sulphur additions during crop growth
• source of organic matter (average 3t/ha)
Average dry matter content: 4%
